This is a quick blog post to give a shout out to our friends and suppliers of all things aerial, RC Geeks. When you start looking beyond consumer drones and want to move up to the more professional systems thing quickly get a little bit daunting. There are literally limitless configurations and options that you can specify when you get to models such as the DJI S900 or S1000. From cameras and gimbals to video transmitters and antennas it is easy to get bogged down in the technicalities of the UAS world.
RC Geeks are based in Crawley and are by far the best suppliers we have worked with. They pride themselves in helping beginners through the minefield of options when buying a drone whilst still being able to talk ‘technical’ to the higher end professional clients. We chose RC Geeks originally because of their excellent pre-sales service. If you want to speak to someone to discuss your needs they are available immediately, not reached through a labyrinth of automated messages. The same specialist is also available once you have received your aircraft, if you have any difficulties in the setup.
With the larger aircraft RC Geeks will build and configure to any setup you require. Then, once the build is complete they will do a complete handover for you where you will learn how to operate and fly the device. This is essential when buying the high end professional equipment. You can read the manuals and find information on the internet to learn how your new equipment works but you can’t beat the hands-on training offered on the handover.
Thanks RC Geeks and we look forward to working with you for many years to come.
